Do you Book Club? I Bloom.

All my life I have NOT, repeat not enjoyed reading.
Maybe because my lifestyle now and always has been so busy, so crazy, just too much going to for me to stop and read a book. However, as I get older... dare I say that, I am enjoying books more and more.

The Bloom {in}courage book club is a place to read, discuss and grow together and I'm so excited to join in on that reading, discussing and growing!

You are just in time to start the new life-changing book called 7 By Jen Hatmaker. Jen took seven months, identified seven areas of excess, and made seven simple choices to fight back against the modern-day diseases of greed, materialism, and overindulgence. Check out the trailer here:

I plan on sharing what I learn, how I grow, and where God is calling me to refine in my life, each chapter at a time. I would love for you to share your growth too.

You can sign up here if you would like to receive emails when new Bloom posts are available. Also you can join in on the Bloom Facebook Page to interact with other readers, as well as in the comments of each post!

Last spring I stumbled upon http://www.incourage.me/.
It has been a great christian resource for me as a wife, mom and daugther of the King.
I particpated in their bible study/community building weekend called in(RL) Real Life, back in April. Since then, I enjoy getting emails about articles that encourage me and uplift me in life and ministry.
We share a passion for community and relationships. That is how I believe we grow the Kingdom.

Happy Kingdom Building!

Be Strong & Courageous #RefugeCo. Lesson7.18.12

Pastor Mark talked about Joshua being strong and courageous in what God had called him to. He also talked about Rehab and the hard decisions she had to make. Was it the right thing?

We all know that school is coming close and its in our minds as your leaders how you will choose to live this next school year. Will you stand up for whats right? Will you take a stand for Christ? will you take a stand for others?

What is just?

How is justice played out in our lives today?

Who is our judge?

Be Strong & Courageous Refuge Co.!
let Him use you to build His kingdom.

How are you going to change our world?

{Conforming to the IMAGE OF CHRIST for the sake of others.}

Wonder what Bible I'm using? It's the HCSB Apologetics Study Bible for Students. You can get it here and right now it is on sale.

{in}RL Bible Study

I actually haven't been doing "Real Life" with anyone since we have moved positions from our last church in Van Buren, AR. {I miss that small group and the relationships I had there}

So when I came across this little online event looked like something I would love.
And I did. I only wish that I would have been able to share in a group inReal Life!

They have a bible study out now that you can purchase:

I went ahead and bought it even though I don't have that "Real Life" community. I'm praying for God to bring some ladies into my life to share this study with.

Hello Monday: myLife

Today is a new chapter in my life...

I'm starting the inspiredtoaction.com Hello Mornings challenge... but that isn't the new chapter, I'm 28 today, it's my birthday, and another chance to come closer to my Lord and allow Him to shape me into the person He wants me to become.

A lot has already happened in 2012... I'm excited, and to be honest also a little scared... but the more I dive into the loving word of the Father, He reassures my doubt and it over comes my fear... I wish I didn't need that reassurance every morning... but then I wouldn't need Him and that is no wish at all!

I praise the Lord for His word! And for His Love!

Psalms 1
1 Blessed are those
who do not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but who delight in the law of the LORD
and meditate on his law day and night.
3 They are like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.
4 Not so the wicked!
They are like chaff
that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment,
nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked will be destroyed.

In the challenge some sweet ladies worked so hard to offer a Bible Study for those who didn't have one, since this really is what this whole challenge is about...

- To develop the life giving morning habit of waking up early, spending time with God and being intentional about planning our days and exercising regularly.Specifically challenging moms to stop waking up TO their children and start waking up FOR them.

And since I LOVE Bible Study SOOO much... that puts me at doing BSF:Act, Reading God's Story, and Run to Him! Prayerfully asking God to help me keep up with all three and to get me out of bed in the morning early enough to do so!
