Back to School Photos 2012

It's a tradition every year right?
To take Back-to-School photos!

I have to confess that we aren't actually Back-to-School yet but in the spirit of blog hopping with iHomeschool Network's "Not" Back-to-School Blog Hop, we had a photo shoot today. Take a look...

Ready for what Homeschool 2012-2013 holds for us!

Emma Grace will officially start school this year as a Kindergartner.  She is my big girl at age 5.

Ready to take off with learning!

Olivia will be starting PreK this year. My baby is growing up. She is 4 years old.

This is what I love! That my children get to be classmates with their best friend.

We would love to see your "Not" Back-to-School photos for this year. Head over to iHomeschool Network and share your blessings. There is even a nice freebie for the homeschooling mamas located there!

Beach Vaca 2012: Cover & Title Page

All of Mark's family went to the beach to stay in one house together for a whole week.I made a Shutterfly book along with scraping it into my PL album. Here is our story of the Sanford Beach Vaca of 2012... and look how cute the cover turned out.

Title Page:
This page documents our journey down to the beach. It was about a four hour drive that took longer than just four hours. We left the house right before 7am. We were in our car, Nana and Poppie in their's. We traveled south to later meet up with Uncle Josh on his bike and Aunt Lala (Lauren) with baby Ava and Jenna.

All the stops made me hungry, very hungry! That is all I could think of the whole trip and that I was not looking forward to that ferry ride. Somewhere Uncle Josh found some friends from the gas station to the ferry, a bunch of them! Once we got in line for the ferry, Jenna and Ava hopped into our car to hangout. Poppie kept playing with them. They didnt mind waiting. I on the other hand did, I was hungry and needed some food.

After waiting for about 45 mins, the ferry came and picked us up. They loaded us on that boat like sardines. I did not like it. We also had to turn off the car until the ride was over. Also I thought I could pick up a snack on this ride, but I was mistsken. There was only heat, sweat, and tears, from me not the girls.

We do look happy in our pic on the ferry, but don't let me smile fool you, I wanted off that thing as soon as I could.

*Note the green and graph tag at the top of the page. I placed that on each page to add handwritten journaling. I thought it would look good with the Project Life concept, my new style of scrapbooking by Becky Higgins.

PL Week 15 & 16

Here I share a couple of things that happened in week 15 and 16. We were crazy busy at church so our family time was lacking, which means my photo taking was too. But these weeks the time we did have together were good ones and I was able to get some good shoots of the girls.

PL Week 13

This week was the Start of April and Holy week. I mostly shared about the big events in our life this week that all pretty much turn back to Easter and Him. But isn't that what I want our real lives to reflect... Him? So I gess it is fitting that our scrapbook would reflect Him too.
I plan on adding some more photos to the bottom of this Easter Day insert.

Our April monthly calendar layout.

PL Week 14

This is from week 14. There is only one page for this week and of course it's blurry like the weeks before, so sorry. In the top right corner is my kitchen sink filled with dishes, then it's my laundry room filled with clothes. And the third pic is of a chalkboard that I got at Kirkland's Home, and it says I love my family. The reason why all of this house work didn't get done is because this is the week after Easter. Our youth group at church did a drama this Easter. We pulled it together in 2 weeks. They did awesome and it turned out to be a huge deal that everyone loved. It was awesome!

If you want to take a peek, here you go.

This week's layout also shows my fixing up the water fountain in your front yard and my sweet Livy playing outside. Then there is a couple of pics of the girls a Community Bible Study showing off all the things they learned. I was so proud of them.

PL Week 10

I really like this layout! It is on the back of the March Calendar Page and I like the way it turnned out. It is of 3 different days and the journaling tells the story.

This is a fun layout too for me. We had some fun times this week. I seem to be doing less journaling and more pics these days. That is okay. In project life do what you need to in order to savor what happened that week. The goal is to have something, anything at all.

I didn't seem to take pics after this week until week 13 =(

PL Week 9

It's a little unfinished and of course the pic is blurry! I don't know what I was doing when I took the photo to make it so blurry. Oh well. This was the first week of March. You should remember this well by the huge "stand a broom up" all over facebook week! So I documented it here in our pl book because Pastor Mark had to show the teens that he could do it too. Also we had a movie night with our youth. Emma got sick this week, I got the new cookbook from Ree! Hubby was happy about the cookbook.

Here is the month of March calendar page. I like this page a lot, I think it's real cute.

PL Week 3 2012

Page 6
Page six is still in progress. A lot went on in our lives in the month of January. We were only home 7 days the whole month. I'm trying to figure out how I want to finish this page. I will update the page once I get to it.

Page 7
Mostly page 7 is about us moving to Bartlesville, OK and the process of all of that. God know what He is doing even when I can't understand it.

Check out week 4 here.
